Kitchen Contributors

This kitchen would have never turned out the way it did if it hadn't been for all the leg work early on, great advice, and lots of hard work by many businesses and friends. We would like to recognize the following companies and individuals for what they contributed to make Pairings what it is. Thanks we couldn't have done it with out you.

  • Rebecca Potter (yes, she's the one who makes the B. Potter Wine Chocolates) for her countless hours on the phone tracking things down and making initial contacts for us to follow up on.
  • Chef Abby Freethy, Greenville, ME. Abby is the reason we have an open prep kitchen! "If you're going to let them see the kitchen, let them see everything." Abby is also the cooking force behind the Northwood's Gourmet Girl product line - Bon Appetit!
  • Chef Carlton Marchetti, Belfast, ME. Carl is the Chef and the new owner of the Maine Chowder House. He gave us many words of encouragement and good advise on the traffic flow through a working kitchen.
  • Clarke Distributors of Milford, MA. distributors of WOLF appliances and Sub-Zero refrigeration. Especially Shawn Clarke, Charlie Lyons, and Debbie Crossman. WOLF and Sub-Zero are sold locally by Dunnets in Bangor and Browns in Ellsworth.

  • C. Caprara Food Service Equipment, Winthrop, ME. To Chris Caprara, and Dave Hasselman for the millions of questions we had, their patience with us and the great deals they had on all of our stainless sinks, dish machine, glass ware, tables and chairs, not to mention all the little kitchen toys that fill nearly every drawer and rack we own.
  • Electric Works, Old Town, ME. We just loved Peter Hall's lifetime warrantee, "If it breaks or doesn't work just come and get me and I'll fix it, even if I'm dead."
  • New England JanSan and owner Michael Martin, our kitchen and bathroom floors were brought back to life by them. We should add that Mike only used environmental and people safe products.
